Michael graduated from the New York Medical College in 1998 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. He is an Active Release Technique (ART) full body certified therapist. For the past 17 years, Michael has been in private practice. This allows him to focus directly on patient care and fosters the development of personal relationships with every person he treats. He believes in a “hands on”approach to treatment, and integrates all his learned skills into helping his patients achieve their goals for successful rehabilitation.
Michael understands what is like to be on the patient side of the physical therapy experience. After undergoing four knee surgeries, he endured years of rehabilitation and worked diligently in order to resume his highly active lifestyle. This experience gave him a unique perspective on the importance of fully engaging and interacting with his patients. He believes strongly that each person’s body is unique and, with that in mind, he creates a custom treatment plan specifically designed to meet each patient’s individual needs. Michael has a passion for working with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Practicing physical therapy allows him to combine his love of sports with his desire to help others.
